David Beckham on fixie?

Well, well...look what we got here. You football freaks gonna looooove this one! One of the greatest football player has turn himself to the dark side to become a messenger. Naahh! Maybe a paparazzi caught this image of Beckham and his kids strollin. The News of the World ‘reports’ that “Becks, 35, snapped up a black and red race bike while sons Romeo, Cruz, and Brooklyn chose brightly coloured BMX rides”. Beck, you better change that flip flops to something better if you wanna ride that. But I have to say, Posh gonna have to find a hobby to fill her loneliness.

Between haters and lovers

Lotsa cyclists nowadays creates their own group and club to ease their cycling needs and exchanging ideas and stuffs, but some creates those kinda mood that really spoils the thrill of cycling. These jokers are called Haters. Don't take it seriously, but this is just what I feel which it really happens around me. It's all about whose bike is the most expensive, what you can do with your bicycle, booing to the tricksters and etc. I don't really care about any of it and I know some of you are too, but haters, you're just makin' fun of yourself. Even if we ride the different bikes, but when we fall from it, we still bleed and it is still red. Neither of you haters gonna bleed in gold nor black. no matter how expensive your bike is. It's all about the passion not the price...

Volume Bikes and GReddy collabs!

A very big applause to Volume bikes and the maker of car performance parts GReddy as they collab during the GReddy Fest 2 recently. I'm sure these fits in really well here in Malaysia due to those damn illegal car drivers who is really crazy about fast automobiles and the fixed gear trend which is so in right now. To the GReddy and Volume Bikes team, please come here and do another fest or whatever. I don't really know what happened at the GReddy Fest 2 but these are some pics for your viewing pleasure.

HELMETS : Thumbs up or ...??

What do you think when you first set eyes on this cartoon strip? They're talking 'bout helmets for roadies. Do you prefer wearing one? or it's just a burden to your head and you'd rather put your lovely brain in jeopardy? I don't use any helmets myself but I do recommend it to those who had these phobia of dying or accidents. Aaawww....I don't really know. You decide...

Formula Splines

Thanks to John Prolly for putting up this piece up! Formula’s new hub design for running splined cogs. This is something that people have wanted for some time now…though maybe not quite like this. One of the limitations for fixed freestyle riders is the diameter of hubs where the cog mounts. You've got to have a decent sized region for the cog to thread onto and ample space for the hub bearing. I'm curious to see how small of a cog this little guy will seat. I wouldn't think the lockring would be necessary but at least it wont be so crucial as to how tight you get it on there. Also wonder how well the aluminum will hold up…I've seen splined aluminum sprockets get destroyed real quick but maybe the larger diameter of the hub will account for that. Either way a fresh looking hub and an awesome idea!

Beyonce Bike...

Spotted in NYC, this is what I call "Riding Dirty". A repainted Bianchi Pista, the owner must be crazy in love with Ms Knowles. Never thought we could "ride" Beyonce in public. Good idea eh? Maybe I'll start painting my bike dark red and put a big Johansson sticker and a small Scarlett on the top tube...how's that sounds?
